Training and Safety Coordinator 

We are looking for an exceptional Training and Safety Coordinator to drive employee development at our food production plant in College Park to deliver an aggressive roadmap of projects including high priority and ongoing enhancements outlined below:

  • Primary role will be to collaborate with department supervisors to create learning paths for new hires(or new to role employees) to expedite time to full productivity.
  • Conduct new hire orientation and training for both line production workers and office staff.
  • Conduct post-training follow up with the team members and their supervisors to ensure that integration and wanted job skills have been achieved.
  • Lead efforts to identify organizational development needs that support critical business initiatives, including a focus on safety training, and create training materials to support.
  • Also responsible for reporting and maintenance of training records in HR system.
  • Position will report to Human Resources.

Requirements:

  • You must be passionate about how learning and development contributes to a companies overall success.
  • Knowledge of adult learning theory and practice, strong project management, facilitation and creation of high quality training materials.
  • Must have advanced computer and software skills. PowerPoint, Office 365, SharePoint, Excel, OneDrive.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and managing learning programs for all employees, including a focus on developing new managers/supervisors in a plant environment.
  • Superior organizational and facilitation skills to deliver a variety of training programs and coordinate meetings.
